AD is hailed as the future of food recycling and energy creation.  Trade and government bodies including WRAP the Environment Agency, and the UN 
are agreed on its many benefits.  You can read a straightforward description of it in this report from the Friends of the Earth (FoE)  but the main thing you need to know is that AD is the best route for your food waste.

Instead of sending food waste to landfill where it will rot and emit dangerous gases, your food waste will do these wonderful things:

• Generate electricity by capturing the methane
• Be converted into an excellent organic fertiliser
